Responcibilities

Conduct thorough audits of production facilities and supply chains to verify compliance with halal standards.
Review and assess documentation related to halal certification processes and accreditation requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement plans.
Stay updated on local and international halal regulations and industry best practices.
Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management and relevant stakeholders.
Support the development and maintenance of halal compliance policies and procedures.
Provide training and guidance to staff on halal requirements and compliance protocols.
Facilitate communication between certification bodies and internal teams to ensure smooth accreditation processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Islamic Studies, or a related field.
Proven experience in halal compliance auditing or certification within the food or pharmaceutical industries.
Strong knowledge of halal standards, certification processes, and relevant UAE regulations.
Excellent analytical and report-writing skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple audits efficiently.
Effective communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems is preferred.
Willingness to travel within the UAE for on-site audits as required.
