Roles and Responsibilities14th - Perform IV cannulation, infusion therapy, and venipuncture safely and efficiently - Administer medications, fluids, and blood products through IV access as prescribed - Monitor patient conditions during and after IV procedures - Ensure proper infection control and aseptic techniques during all procedures - Maintain accurate documentation of IV insertions and related treatments - Provide patient education on IV therapy, post-care, and possible side effects - Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care - Manage IV equipment and supplies, ensuring proper use and storage - Report complications or adverse reactions immediately to the medical team - Comply with DHA/MOH/DOH guidelines and facility policies Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification - Valid DHA/DOH/MOH license to practice as a Registered Nurse in UAE - Proven experience in IV cannulation and infusion therapy in clinical settings - Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, infection control, and patient safety - Excellent clinical and observational skills in handling IV-related procedures - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction - Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team - Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
