Responcibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive pain management plans tailored to orthopedic patients.
- Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Assess and monitor patients’ pain levels, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary.
- Provide expert guidance on pharmacological and non-pharmacological pain relief methods.
- Lead educational sessions for clinical staff on the latest pain management techniques and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain accurate patient records.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews to support complex patient care decisions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing pain management services.
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in pain management, anesthesiology, or orthopedics.
- Proven experience managing orthopedic pain in a clinical setting, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.
- Strong knowledge of current pain management protocols and pharmacology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to analyze patient data and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Familiarity with UAE healthcare regulations and standards.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with advancements in pain management.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
