Responcibilities

  • Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with lymphedema and related conditions.
  • Implement evidence-based physiotherapy techniques to manage and reduce lymphedema symptoms effectively.
  • Educate patients and their families on self-care strategies and preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated with advancements in lymphedema management.
  • Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols within the clinical setting.

Requirements

  • Certification in Lymphedema Therapy from a recognized institution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in physiotherapy with a focus on lymphedema management.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to lymphatic disorders.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Valid UAE professional license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
