Accountant | Dubai We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of a growing organization within the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards. This role demands precision, integrity, and a proactive approach to financial analysis and problem-solving. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting management with accurate financial data to drive informed decisions and operational efficiency. Roles and Responsibilities - Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger - Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports - Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, VAT filing, and relevant accounting standards - Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings with accuracy and timeliness - Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support business planning - Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure optimal financial management - Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation - Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure data integrity - Collaborate with management to optimize budget planning and cost control - Implement and improve accounting systems, policies, and procedures for efficiency Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional certification preferred – CPA, ACCA, CMA) - 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the UAE - Strong understanding of UAE accounting and tax regulations, including VAT - Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) and MS Excel - Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills - High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively
