We are seeking an enthusiastic, patient, and safety-focused Swimming Instructor to join our team and deliver high-quality swim training to students of all ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for teaching, an excellent understanding of water safety principles, and the ability to motivate learners to build confidence and technique in the water. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, engaging, and enjoyable learning environment. The instructor will play a key role in promoting health, fitness, and aquatic skills while upholding the highest safety and service standards of the organization. Roles and Responsibilities • Conduct individual and group swimming lessons for children and adults, ensuring lessons are engaging, safe, and effective. • Assess students’ abilities, design customized lesson plans, and track progress to meet individual learning goals. • Demonstrate and teach proper swimming techniques, breathing methods, and water safety rules. • Supervise swimmers closely during classes to prevent accidents and respond promptly to emergencies when needed. • Maintain pool safety standards, perform basic first aid when required, and ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations. • Prepare and organize lesson schedules, attendance records, and performance assessments. • Provide continuous feedback, motivation, and encouragement to help swimmers improve technique and confidence. • Inspect pool area and equipment before each session to ensure a clean and safe environment. • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, or clients regarding progress, schedules, and safety updates. • Collaborate with the management team to plan seasonal programs, workshops, or aquatic events. Requirements • Certification in Swimming Instruction, Lifeguarding, or Water Safety (e.g., STA, ASA, or equivalent). • Valid First Aid and CPR certification required. • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Swimming Instructor or Lifeguard in a professional facility or club. • Strong knowledge of swimming techniques, training methods, and safety procedures. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with diverse age groups. • Physically fit and comfortable working in a pool environment for extended periods. • Positive attitude, patience, and passion for teaching and child development. • Ability to manage multiple classes, maintain discipline, and ensure learner engagement throughout sessions.
