Vascular Surgeon – Dubai, UAE A highly skilled and experienced Vascular Surgeon is required to diagnose, treat, and manage complex vascular conditions using surgical and minimally invasive techniques within a modern clinical environment. This role plays a vital part in delivering patient-centered care by performing advanced procedures, evaluating circulatory disorders, and implementing evidence-based treatment plans. The Vascular Surgeon will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive vascular care, ensuring safety, precision, and high clinical outcomes. The ideal candidate will have extensive surgical expertise, strong patient communication skills, and a commitment to excellence in vascular health management. Key Responsibilities - Diagnose and treat vascular conditions including arterial diseases, venous disorders, aneurysms, peripheral artery disease, varicose veins, and vascular trauma. - Perform vascular surgeries such as bypass procedures, endarterectomy, thrombectomy, and other open surgical interventions. - Conduct minimally invasive vascular procedures including endovascular stenting, angioplasty, EVLT, RFA, sclerotherapy, and other image-guided techniques. - Evaluate diagnostic tests including Doppler ultrasounds, CT angiography, MR angiography, and vascular lab results. - Develop personalized treatment plans ensuring optimal surgical and non-surgical outcomes. - Provide pre-operative assessments, post-operative care, and follow-up evaluations to monitor patient progress. - Collaborate with internal specialists such as interventional radiologists, cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and general surgeons. - Ensure adherence to DHA/DOH clinical standards, patient safety protocols, and evidence-based surgical guidelines. - Maintain accurate patient documentation, operative notes, and clinical records in compliance with healthcare regulations. - Counsel patients and families regarding treatment options, risks, benefits, and recovery expectations. - Participate in morbidity and mortality reviews, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical meetings. - Stay updated with advancements in vascular surgery, endovascular technologies, and innovative treatment modalities. Requirements - Medical degree (MBBS) with specialization in General Surgery and fellowship/specialization in Vascular Surgery (MD/MS/DNB or equivalent). - Minimum 5–8 years of clinical and surgical experience, including expertise in both open and endovascular procedures. - Valid DHA/DOH/MOH license or eligibility for licensing in the UAE. - Strong proficiency in diagnosing and managing arterial and venous diseases. - Excellent surgical skills with experience in advanced vascular and endovascular interventions. - Ability to interpret vascular imaging and diagnostic tests accurately. - Strong communication and patient counselling skills with a compassionate and professional approach. - Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams. - High attention to detail, clinical accuracy, and commitment to patient safety. - Experience working in Dubai or the UAE healthcare sector is an advantage.
