Patient Coordinator – Dubai, UAE A patient-focused and highly organized Patient Coordinator is required to support smooth patient flow, exceptional service delivery, and efficient administrative operations within a healthcare setting. This role plays a vital part in managing front-desk activities, assisting patients throughout their treatment journey, coordinating appointments, and ensuring clear communication between patients, clinicians, and internal departments. The Patient Coordinator will act as the primary touchpoint for patients, providing guidance, ensuring comfort, and maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities - Welcome patients, manage check-in and check-out procedures, and ensure a positive patient experience. - Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, follow-ups, and treatment plans in alignment with physician availability. - Provide detailed information on services, procedures, payments, insurance coverage, and clinic policies. - Maintain accurate patient records, update information in the system, and ensure confidentiality at all times. - Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and clinical teams to ensure seamless patient flow and timely service delivery. - Handle incoming calls, WhatsApp queries, emails, and online inquiries promptly and professionally. - Assist patients with registration, consent forms, insurance verification, and required documentation. - Guide patients through pre-procedure instructions, treatment preparation, and post-care guidance. - Manage daily appointment lists, cancellations, rescheduling, and future bookings. - Support billing activities including invoicing, payment collection, and insurance documentation. - Resolve patient concerns, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure each patient receives attentive care. - Ensure waiting areas, reception spaces, and patient service points are organized and well-maintained. - Assist in patient engagement activities, follow-up reminders, promotional campaigns, and retention initiatives. - Work closely with management to support operational improvements and service excellence. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Customer Service, or a related field preferred. - Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Patient Coordinator, Receptionist, Front Desk Executive, or Customer Service role in a clinic, hospital, or healthcare center. - Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or additional languages is an advantage. - Excellent interpersonal skills with a warm, patient-friendly attitude. - Proficiency in healthcare software systems, MS Office applications, and digital communication tools. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment. - Knowledge of UAE healthcare procedures, patient documentation, and insurance processes is preferred. - Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracy in all patient-related tasks. - Experience working in Dubai or the UAE healthcare sector is an advantage.
