Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare facility, providing comprehensive assessment and therapeutic interventions to support patients in achieving functional independence and improved quality of life. This role is integral to rehabilitation services across pediatric and adult populations, addressing physical, sensory, cognitive, and psychosocial challenges that impact daily living and work-related activities. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans aligned with clinical best practices and UAE healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical reasoning, patient-centered care, and effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, while maintaining accurate documentation and measurable treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify functional limitations and patient goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve daily living, motor, sensory, and cognitive skills.
- Deliver therapy interventions for pediatric and adult patients using evidence-based techniques.
- Monitor patient progress, reassess goals, and modify treatment plans as clinically required.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic strategies, adaptive techniques, and home programs.
- Collaborate with physicians, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in line with DHA / DOH / MOH standards.
- Adhere to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and quality assurance protocols at all times.

Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Valid DHA / DOH / MOH license or eligibility to practice in the UAE.
- Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist in a hospital, clinic, rehabilitation, or community setting.
- Strong knowledge of functional rehabilitation, sensory integration, and adaptive equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage caseloads independently while maintaining high standards of care.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
