Speech Therapist
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our healthcare facility, delivering evidence-based assessment and therapy services for patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. The role plays a critical part in improving patients’ communication abilities, quality of life, and functional independence across pediatric and adult populations.
The Speech Therapist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy in line with international best practices and UAE healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, patient-centered care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and measurable treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented therapy plans based on clinical findings.
- Provide therapy sessions for pediatric and adult patients using evidence-based techniques.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes accurately.
- Educate patients, parents, and caregivers on therapy goals, techniques, and home programs.
- Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain complete and compliant clinical records in accordance with DHA / DOH / MOH guidelines.
- Uphold ethical standards, patient confidentiality, and quality assurance protocols at all times.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy / Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
- Valid DHA / DOH / MOH license or eligibility to practice in the UAE.
- Proven clinical experience as a Speech Therapist in a hospital, clinic, or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and swallowing assessment and therapy techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage caseloads independently while maintaining high standards of care.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
