We are hiring an Acupuncture Therapist to join one of our clients’ healthcare facilities in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for a qualified and licensed acupuncture professional who will provide high-quality, patient-centered holistic treatments to support pain management, rehabilitation, and overall wellness. The Acupuncture Therapist will be responsible for conducting consultations, assessing patient conditions, and administering acupuncture and related therapeutic procedures to ensure safe and effective treatment outcomes. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical expertise, ethical practice, and adherence to international standards and UAE healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed patient consultations, assessments, and medical history reviews prior to treatment.
- Develop individualized acupuncture treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
- Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile techniques and approved clinical protocols.
- Perform complementary therapies such as cupping, moxibustion, or electro-acupuncture (as per qualification and scope).
- Educate patients on treatment plans, expected outcomes, and post-treatment care.
- Monitor patient progress and manage any minor adverse reactions appropriately.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with DOH / DHA / MOH regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, infection control, and safety standards at all times.
- Stay updated on advancements in acupuncture techniques and holistic healthcare practices.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), or related field from a recognized institution.
- Valid DOH license or eligibility to practice in the UAE.
- Proven clinical experience as an Acupuncture Therapist in a hospital, clinic, or wellness center.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and acupuncture techniques.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
- Ability to work independently while ensuring patient safety and professional standards
