We are hiring a Hijama Therapist to join one of our clients’ healthcare facilities in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for a qualified and licensed professional who will provide safe and effective cupping therapy treatments to support pain relief, detoxification, and overall patient wellness. The Hijama Therapist will be responsible for conducting patient consultations, assessing suitability for treatment, and performing wet and dry cupping procedures in accordance with clinical standards and UAE healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong knowledge of hygiene protocols, patient-centered care, and adherence to international best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct patient consultations, medical history reviews, and suitability assessments prior to performing Hijama therapy.
- Perform wet cupping (Hijama) and dry cupping procedures using sterile techniques and approved clinical protocols.
- Educate patients on the benefits, expected outcomes, and post-treatment care instructions.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures to ensure safety and manage minor adverse reactions appropriately.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation in compliance with DOH / DHA / MOH regulations.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control, sterilization, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Dispose of medical waste safely according to healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care when required.
- Stay updated on best practices and advancements in cupping therapy techniques.

Key Requirements

- Certification or Diploma in Hijama Therapy / Cupping Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Valid DOH license or eligibility to practice in the UAE (as applicable).
- Proven experience as a Hijama Therapist in a clinic, hospital, or wellness center.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and contraindications related to cupping therapy.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, patient confidentiality, and high hygiene standards.
