Responsibilities
- Certification in Lymphedema Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing lymphedema cases.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology related to lymphatic disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid UAE professional license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
Requirements
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with lymphedema and related conditions.
- Implement evidence-based physiotherapy techniques to manage and reduce lymphedema symptoms effectively.
- Educate patients and their families on self-care strategies and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with clinical standards.
